Rosa Canina

Commonly known as dog rose. A seeding species of wild rose which is commonly used for hedging or in a wild life garden. Single fragrant blooms, pale pink in colour are produced singularly or in clusters throughout the summer n a large spreading, arching bush. Blooms are followed by an oval 1.5-2cm red-orange fruit/hip. Foliage is large, light green and plentiful with hooked thorns on the stems making this perfect for a barrier. Hardy. Good disease resistance. Grows to anything up to 500cm in height if left unchecked.

Potted Roses - Supplied throughout the year, excluding standards. Each rose is supplied in a 4 litre pot. The roses are supplied in an individual box with a Colour tag (if available) or Description tag. Bare Rooted Roses - Items will be dispatched from November through to March, although we accept advance orders of Bare Root Roses at any time.
