| January | Let your roses rest! |
| February | Mid month get your secateurs out to prune. |
| March | Finish pruning by end of month. Feed them with Bone Meal. |
| April | Start spraying with insecticide and fungicide. |
| May | Continue with the spraying and feeding. |
| June | Continue with the spraying and feeding. Enjoy the colour. |
| July | Dead head. Enjoy the colour. |
| August | Spray with fungicide. Enjoy the colour. |
| September | Finish spraying. |
| October | Plant your new roses from Rumwood Nurseries. |
| November | Winter prune. |
| December | Mulch around the roses. |
